Topic: не работает icq(((

Здравствуйте!
После зановоустановленного windows(лицензия) скачивала icq без проблем, устанавливала, но при входе в систему вылезала табличка ошибки. Пробовала 2003, 4, 5-ую... одно и то же...
Перед скачиванием новой удаляла полностью предыдущую...
Помогите, пожалуйста!

Полностью удаляли через uninstall или просто в program files папку delete?

вот по горячим следам..
скачала icq lite, вроде бы не забраковали меня сразу, но выдали Error ID 0406

Дык это Вы не полностью.
Снесите каталог вручную.
Зайдите и просто удалите в program files папку ICQ.

сделала всё, вроде бы... и в program files снесла все папки, даже папку с icq toolbar, и перепроверила в "панели управления", ничего ли не осталось... перезагрузилась, опять скачала, снова перезагрузилась (женская логика - чтоб наверняка...)))
Выдает при входе в систему табличку:

и ниже:

мне написали следующее:

Нереальное событие как-то. попробуйте альтернативный клиент, например, миранду

Может быть такое, что в самом компе что-то с чем-то не сживается?
МSN тоже не запускается...

p.s. последний вопрос: Windows Home Edition или Office XP - от этого может зависеть "правильная" установка icq на компе?

Установила Миранду... еще не поняла всех ее "тонкостей", забавная... но без проблем встала! ))))
